Great location in Cape Coast. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Good, reasonably priced food. A great value. Beautiful, relaxing grounds. Very good place to stay to be able to see and experience the charm of Cape Coast. We stayed for 4 nights and visited Elmina, Kakum, and Assin Manso as well. Our room was surprisingly cool even without using the air conditioner.
The Mighty Victory is a large hotel on a hill a short walk from the centre of town and the Cape Coast Castle. It was clean and spacious although somewhat lacking in atmosphere. The showers were HOT and PLENTIFUL!!, a real treat in Ghana. The A/C room we had was airy and pleasant with ensuite bathroom and Ghana TV.
A friendly hotel with a mainly western clientèle The owners are obliging and friendly. This is a basic hotel but the price refrects this and it is in a central though quiet location in Cape Coast . I would recommend this place.
Richard & Joyce, Ghanian-Americans from Oklahoma City who have come back home to retire, are among the coolest hoteliers in Ghana and their property has pretty much everything you need for a visit to Cape Coast. The hotel is well-located, and not far enough from the busy center of town. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast.
By far the best hotel in Ghana. Good mid-range price, clean, centrally located, and with an excellent kitchen. My wife and I originally checked in to this hotel hoping to stay two days, but on day two I got a massive case of food poisoining. It was my good fortune to be at Mighty Victory. The owners, Richard and Joyce, are really cool people.
